Dr. Ashok Pandey has spent 20 years in commercial shipping, including roles as a ship master and expert ice navigator, and has been a maritime educator for the past 13 years. Currently an Associate Professor at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, he previously taught at the University of Trinidad & Tobago. Dr. Pandey holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Arctic Shipping from Memorial University, Canada, and an MSc in Maritime Economics & Logistics from Erasmus University, Rotterdam. He is a member of several international shipping organizations, including The Arctic Research Consortium and the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
